Arurong is a material mostly used to make baskets, trays and other handicraft accessories for our homes. It can also be used to make furniture, usually combined with rattan and metal as its frame. This material can be stained and lacquered.

Bamboo known to be the tallest in the grass family. Compared to other wood bamboo is widely used, not only that its inexpensive but also it has unique qualities and many uses. Crushed bamboo laminated on wooden carcasses is the new trend, it can be used as a door panel, head boards, table top or an accent wall.

Buri is a palm that grows naturally throughout the Philippines. Buri is mostly used to make placemats, hats and other handicrafts but nowadays it is also known to be a raw material in making furniture such as barrel chairs, love seats, peacock chairs, stools, coffee tables, end tables and many many more.

Raffia is a fiber extracted from buri palm. It is the leaf of the palm wooven into fabrics used as an upholstery material sometimes made into a hat, bag, place mat and many many more decorative items. Twisted or woven raffia fiber are also used to produce chair, armchairs, coffee table or end tables with woven surface.
